3 DAY TOUR ITINERARY - Uluru, Kata Tjuta, Kings Canyon

Day 1: Start Uluru or Alice Springs: Uluru Base Tour, Cultural Centre & Sunset

For those starting in Alice you depart around 6am and drive through the beautiful outback. Along the way, we stop at Mt Conner’s lookout, sometimes called the false Uluru or Fool-uru, to admire the breathtaking views of the red mountain. We also have a quick break at Curtin Springs for restroom facilities and delicious lunch. Guests starting the tour in Uluru, will join the group just after midday and head to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.

The afternoon is spent visiting the acclaimed Cultural Centre where you can explore the displays and learn of the flora and fauna unique to this area. Then embark on a guided base walk at Uluru visiting the Mutitjulu Waterhole, Kuniya Piti & Kantju Gorge, before enjoying the famous changing colours of Uluru at sunset with plenty of photo opportunities. This is a great time to kick back and contemplate the vastness of the desert while getting to know your fellow travellers.

Afterwards settle in with a wholesome meal back at camp. Enjoy a hot shower (shared amentities) before spending an unforgettable sleep in your tent or swag under the desert stars. Includes Lunch (if starting Alice), Dinner

Day 2: Uluru Sunrise & Kata Tjuta

Awaken early and enjoy a light morning meal as you approach a mesmerising sunrise within the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. Behold the imposing shadow of Kata Tjuta, a truly magnificent view. Embark on a rejuvenating trek across the striking Valley of the Winds or Walpa Gorge, admiring the formidable conglomerate rock structures. Once you've had lunch, we travel onto the Kings Canyon, where we witness another beautiful sunset and where the group will eat and sleep for the night. Includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Your guide will point these out on a guided trek that takes in the canyon’s most famous sites – the Lost City, Garden of Eden, Amphitheatre and North and South Walls. Then it’s lunch, rest, and transferring back to either Alice Springs or Uluru for farewells. Includes Breakfast, Lunch
