Morning Sunrise Tour
You can choose either the Uluru Walk
OR the Spirit of Uluru Tour.
The Uluru Walk, a 9.4 km
guided walk around the entire base of the Uluru,
provides an opportunity to best understand Uluru's
natural and cultural significance. Our guides will
introduce you to its geology and describe how plants
and wildlife have adapted and survived in such
a forbidding environment. Most fascinating is learning
the relationship of the Anangu people
to Uluru. Your guide will narrate the creation
time stories that envelop it, so you can appreciate
what a powerful and moving place this is.
Tour
duration approximately 4 hours.
The Spirit of Uluru Tour is
a vehicle-based version of the Uluru Walk
that provides short walks to view rock art, waterholes
and learn about the unique flora and fauna. The
tour is completed with a visit to the Uluru-Kata
Tjuta Cultural Centre.
Total duration approximately
4 hours.
Afternoon Tour – Uluru Sunset Tour allows
you to experience Uluru at sunset & watch the
spectacular change of colours. On the way you stop
for a “postcard shot” photo opportunity
before arriving at the secluded viewing area. Enjoy
a display of traditional aboriginal tools & weapons.
Total duration approximately 2 hours. |
