Travel to the mystical 36 domes of Kata Tjuta.
On the way, stop at a lookout for a panoramic view of the southern side of Kata Tjuta.
Continue on before arriving at the base of Walpa Gorge.
Spend some time exploring the gorge and the unusual conglomerate rock formations.

The walking trail through Walpa Gorge follows the natural creek between two of the tallest domes of Kata Tjuta. In the late afternoon we travel to the Uluru sunset viewing area.
Witness and photograph the striking colour changes of Uluru at sunset while enjoying nibbles and a complimentary glass of wine.

Departs: Daily 2.30pm (Mar - Oct) and 3.30pm (Nov - Feb) from Ayers Rock Resort

Returns: 20 minutes approximately after sunset to Ayers Rock Resort

Kata Tjuta Valley of the Winds

Kata Tjuta (the Olgas)

Valley of the Winds Walk

Travel to Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) where your Driver/Guide will explain the geological history of these giant domes.
Your Driver/Guide will then escort you on a 2-3 hour walk in the valley between the massive red conglomerate rock.

The walking path is rocky and requires a good level of fitness.
Marvel at the unique flora and fauna that has survived in this harsh environment. When you reach the Valley of the Winds Lookout, take some time to gaze out over the central valley of Kata Tjuta.
Then take in a magnificent outback sunset at Kata Tjuta while enjoying a complimentary glass of sparkling wine.

Departs: Daily 2.00pm (Apr - Oct) and 3.00pm (Nov - Mar) from Ayers Rock Resort

Returns: 40 minutes approximately after sunset to Ayers Rock Resort

Please Note: Whilst tours do go ahead in wet weather, itineraries may be altered to suit weather conditions. Prices do not include entry fees to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park (payable on the day of your tour). The park use fee is $25 for each person over 16 years of age and valid for 3 consecutive days. Entry is free for children under 16 years of age.

Child rates apply for 5-15 years.
